Green Packaging
Green Packaging is easily recycled, and it is safe for environment. It makes use of renewable energy, and uses as much renewable or recycled materials as possible.
Green packaging causes less damage to the environment due to 3 reasons:
-
It can be reused
-
It can be recycled
-
It’s biodegradable
Some Green packaging material can be used again in original form, some are made of materials that can be recycled and made into something else and others simply decompose in an environmentally friendly way.
Paper – a great green packaging material because it is recyclable, reusable and biodegradable. Often the paper we used for packaging has already been made using a high percentage of recycled paper.
Cardboard – same as paper, cardboard can be recycled, and is biodegradable.
Biodegradable* Polypropylene, or PP – is a thermoplastic polymer that is recognized for its stiffness, strength, and resistance to heat. One good example of such packaging product is OptiLedge which Flow Packaging is distributing this product in Malaysia.
